We have one Marty, bought used (well used) out of the Alberta oil patch. Cheaper than a similar age/mileage F450. Put a deck on it so we could put it to work, its hooked to a trailer most of the time. It pulls no better than a 1ton diesel, but it handles the trailer and stops much better. You can drive in city traffic, but only because everyone will get out of the way.
I have not had any troubles with it in two years of hard ranch service.
Hope you are healing up, I still plan to come get that crewcab out of your hair one day.
