While power boosted drum brake will stop you well, its nothing compared to power boosted 4 wheel disks. If your planning sometime in the future to do a power (engine) upgrade, then with more speed, I suggest disks.
I have 4 wheel disks on all my old iron. A few years ago, I did a cost comparison of a absolute total rebuild of the entire drum brakes, including new drums compared to going to disks. I forget the Dollar difference now, but it was not that terrible a difference.
My suggestion is 4 wheel disks with proportion control and you will never look back. If you need help, I will help you.
