A Pacer part on your PW is not QUITE as bad as an electric fuel pump, is it, Bill?
Know what else? Home Depot sells a little brass needle valve that could be Teed in at the carb inlet. About $10, I used one for a hydraulic damper on my horizontal band saw. Adjust for proper bleed, then safety wire it.
I wonder of a piece of 2 1/4" tube 3" long with a 1/4" barb out the side, would fit at the filler neck? Or drill & braze a 1/4" tube into the filler neck, inside the bed side? Tough to install though....Better yet, solder/braze a half-union inside the filler, big end outwards. Install filler, screw in adapter as needed for return line. Or maybe just an 1/8" washer to the outside, tape for pipe thread? That might fit through the grommet?
