Lowering the volatility of the fuel is a great way. I agree.
My Wagoneer has a recirculating fuel system, and it still vaporlocks if something else is wrong. For instance, a failing fan clutch caused it to vapor lock.
I think it's better to fix whatever is causing fuel to vaporize. We certainly have a lot more options for keeping fuel cool in a Power Wagon vs. a Corvette.
If fuel is vaporizing in the mechanical fuel pump I don't think such a filter would help, because the pump won't be able to move liquid to the filter.
