wc-52 bed help

Just purchased my first wc-52 for a pretty good price. it looks as though someone has cut up the box abit. I looked at some pictures of restored 52's and looks like the box is 3 sections? and looks like the guy I bought it from cut the first 1/3 off. is there anywhere I can find a replacement? or fab my own?
