if there is i am not aware. the way i have seen it done is to grind flat and then there is a patterned mat that is laid in the curing gelcoat to recreate the pattern. i believe that you will find gelcoat is too thick to flow into already cured deck non slip. i just had my boat painted and used imron. non skid areas were painted and then non skid material (not sand) was applied and then a top coat of imron on top. good luck.
