Use a commonly available Grade 2 bolt. These are weak and soft enough to allow no damage to winch and PTO. They are identified normally by a plain head with no marks, a raised dot in the center of the head or a single radial line from center to one point of the hex head. Avoid grade 5 and 8 bolts, three and six radial lines respectively. They are too strong and hard.
