Originally designed and built by Krupp I think as AA guns, hence those cute double dolly trailers and the elevation angles of 90o you could get on them.
They were sure outstanding guns that they were soon adopted for anti-tank work. I'd guess that Carryall was within range of an armour-piercing round that fragmented, it certainly wasnt a direct hit with an H E round or even I wouldn't get any bits off it.
