I don't know what it would do to a chevy, but I helped my neighbor after his niece put gasoline in a Volks diesel. The car just stopped dead within minutes of starting it with gas in the tank. We just drained the tank, lines, etc. Cranked it for a bit and it seems to be running fine. That's been over 2 months now.
