Did you buy the steel line with the flare already factory made on the end of the line? Or did you use straight line and bend it yourself, and got to the master cylinder and had to cut it? If so, and you put the flare in the end of the line, are you awear there are two different types of flares? The only one you can use is what I think most people call a double flare. If it is not flared properly, no matter how tight you tighten it, it will always leak. Look at the flare and it should appear to have the flare almost as a double thickness of the steel line. You may already know all this, good luck.
