You could try using a thin cut off wheel on a air grinder to cut down the weld areas. If you stay just behind the flange area. You may be able to save the axle.Got any machinist frends? Have him face the ends of the hub and axle,also make a shim to make up the stock that will be missing from facing and fix the studs as they are problably broken or will be ground off . lots of luck.I always think i would like to meet the people who do dumb stuff like that.So i could ask what were you thinking of!!!!!!!
