I am going to replace the seals on my '54 M37's transfer case and I was wondering what to do with the speedometer cable. Is it possible to remove it fairly easily? Should I just pull the cable out of its routing along the frame and work on it close to the truck? By the way, I lost my manual on powertrain body and frame (which was my Bible) and I can't afford a new one right now, but I will buy one soon, so I was wondering if anyone could fax me the pertinent info. on replacing the seals in the Transfer case, and front axle.
