Tough, but beautiful. It's quite a project building a road across those steep hillsides using nothing but a 1950s D4 cat. That cat's pretty tired, and probably wasn't much of a beast even when it was new. It can only push a little pile of dirt, and almost none if it's pushing up hill. It can't bust any bedrock apart, and I can't get careless or I'd likely roll the cat right down the mountainside. I have to just take my time and do it a bit by bit. I'll probably never get the road wide enough for anything bigger than an M37.
