After a lot of Internet research, I decided to go with sand blast frame, epoxy grey primer, and single stage urethane paint. This set up was supposed to be the cats meow for a tuff coat. Since then I've started using the rust oleum paints to finish up other parts. This stuff is really good paint and I would not hesitate to use it on the undercarriage next time. Besides repairing a boo boo would be really easy.
