1941 Dodge WC 1/2 ton pickup bench seat question

I need some help with acquiring a bench seat for my truck and had a suggestion I need clarification on. A local buddy of mine has a few civilian power wagons in his collection "1948-55" and it was suggested that I try one of his bench seats in my 41 WC. Would one of these fit in my '41 civilian cab, or would they be too long? The other idea I had was a Subaru Forester rear seat, but I fear that would be blasphemy and my truck would hold it against me forever. Any ideas are appreciated, especially if you have been in this position before.
