Rear axel and pinion seal replacement.
Question. The pinion shaft seems to have a lot of play and it. I originally had their rear ends set up by professional shop. I know that the run out between the gears are very important. But I can move the pinion shaft in and out by 1/8 of an inch and up and down by a 3/16 of an inch. Is this roughly correct or should I tried to tighten up the bearing on the shaft with that big ring that goes around the inside of the shaft?
