I always imagined the reason for no drain plug in the transmission pan was to discourage guys like you from doing their own service work, thus forcing you to go to the dealer. $$$$$
By the way, do you have a driver's side (probably both sides are the same) sun visor for my WDX that is in good condition? I will recover it to match the new seat cover, so fabric condition or color isn't important.
