Make sure you have at least 10% tongue weight.
I just saw a HUGE crash yesterday when the guy in front of me on the highway merged on with a car on his trailer. I looked at the car & could see it had no engine in it & when this guy hit about 70...all hell broke loose!
Rolled his 2012 Ram diesel & that was only a 3000lb Chevelle on the trailer. Truck, trailer, car...all totaled & luckily nobody dead.
The more tongue weight the better...up to your hitch/tire maximum. You might get a bit of a bumpy ride with too much tongue weight but at least it'll tow nice & straight.
