There are 100s of thousands of deaths each year due to an asthma attack . One breath of that would be enough to set off an attack . Diesel fumes are now linked to cancer - and have been linked to Lou Gehrigs disease for about 25 years .
I can no longer work in my chosen field and get attacks due to one exposure to a chemical . The number of people I saw in the last two years ( while I was in and out of hospitals) that were close to death has been quite sobering .
You see one 12 year old girl die from a asthma attack and the nurses and doctors in tears and you would not think that there is anything cool about any kind of smoke .
considering how many folks who post here have someone fighting the big C I would think we would all do our best to help prevent it .
