If I were to go 318 I would go for a poly. the torque band starts sooner and lasts all the way to the top end. the LA 318 has a bit more top end. I've towed lots with both and the polys like to move wieght much more than the LA. I have seen stock pedls retained with 318s on this forum. Marty had one with the late fifties mechanical bell, the orange truck.
