THere is one possibility, that happenned to me. I had a Power Wagon engine I wanted to free up, I did the af thing, I pulled the head and hit the pistons with a block, soaked it for months. When I finally got around to tearing the engine apart, the crankshaft was in 3 pieces. No amount of ATF, acetone etc etc is going to make that move!
