I can most certainly understand in some situations the engine noise can become too much. I drive a 8v92 firetruck for a living, as if the engine wasn't loud enough the siren and Grover stutter tone air horns have pretty much made me completely deaf. But I still like the Detroit diesel sound when it is heard briefly such as in a video or a truck passing by.
