M37 tank sender details? Ohms?

I plan on using an M37 dash panel and instruments in my latest FFPW project. Are they round with screws, or did Dodged use a sender with lock ring?

Oh wait. I'm going 12v, not 24. Will I need to change gauges, since they are all electric? Aftermarket round ones will fit, but which ones need to be changed?
