There are more variations in the 'replies' down that page.
But I'm a bit confused about the circuit. I would think the amp/wattage would be set by the TI, not by the Zener? That the Zener would control the volts, but the 'power' goes from battery + through the T1. I'm not much of an electronic engineer, I'm only a solder-er.
