Kind of makes me wonder if they're using the same steel as the originals, or something a little softer that will take a cold bend without breaking. Maybe a compromise to speed up the manufacturing? I'm sure the originals were properly heat treated. Would hate to pay >$1000 for a set of springs and have them sag after a bit of use because they weren't as hard as they should be.
