Getting smokey here in Wallace, too, but there's been fires around Boise, Entiat, and all over the place so the smoke could be coming from anywhere. It's that time of year. Still not scary dry like I remember as a kid when the lodgepole forests smelled like turpentine and there was a dry thunderstorm every afternoon, and obviously nothing like 1910 when 10 million acres burned in 3 days.
