Chrysler corp did lots of speical order or custom ordered vehicles back in those days. check out hte George Farrier story and see all those custom ordered Dodges. They also sold those front axles to Ford and they used them in the front of one of there tractors. I am not a tractor enthusiast so not sure on the details like whether ford or some aftermarket company did it.
