Questions: Was your wife able to continue racing the rest of that day? Was that three surgerys or one surgery for three breaks? If one, I still have you beat with one neck surgery and one back surgery. ;^)
Seriously though, glad to hear you are keeping a positive attitude and still have your sence of humor. It could have been much worse especially if you were on the street and not in an organized event.
Hang in there. I'll be pulling for you for a quick recovery.
