Just got home from Maryland, where my Power Wagon loving Daughter Amelia got married! In the planning stages, I had lobbied to be able to invite a couple of MY friends, and eventually prevailed. Thanks to Dave and Marguerite Horvath and Joel and Melissa Folman for making the trip, it made it a lot of fun. Left to my own devices, the Power Wagon Brotherhood would have been much better represented, but I felt good I had been allowed to invite a couple.
I was able to briefly educate 90 people about Power Wagons in my Father of the Bride speech. I didnt let my Wife Joan read my speech beforehand, as she would have reccomended I remove it.
Anyway, walking Amelia down the long flight of stairs and across the grass will be a memory that will stay with me forever.
Now back to work, will you hand me that 9/16" wrench over on the bench?
