Already have the NP 420 with bell housing from parts truck but floor pan hump is rusted from carpet pad, will use what I have, cheaper, and look for new hump later. I was used to shifting with out clutch like my dad, just throttle engine to same speed as tranny and go, only use clutch at dead start. With syncro it shifts faster. I drive my 7.3 diesel usually in 2-4-6 gears with clutch about ˝ the time. Thanks for all your information….Ray
