I recently picked up a 1971 W-300 Power Wagon. This truck has sat quietly for the last 15 years. The owner has passed and I picked it up from the estate.
As you know this is the last year on the old style trucks with DANA 70 diffs. This truck has a factory special order 383 4 speed 4.88 gears. These are hard to come by. I have not started the truck yet, but from what I have seen it will run, very clean oil and clean inside the valve covers. The truck has minimal rust on the floor boards and overall good shape. It has a flatbed on the back set up for a goose neck trailer. The tires are worn and have to go. I pulled the boards off the flat bed as several were rotten from sitting our for so long.
The truck is located in Lewiston Idaho and priced at $1800.00. In the next few weeks I will work on the basics to make it run and stop, then the price will go up a bit. I have limited space at my house and it needs to go. I do not want to part it out.
