Took the old '41 WC for a ride down our dirt road last night, then parked it in a new spot. While enjoying the mechanical noises under the hood, I noticed some "new" leaking going on. After dragging my finger through it and smelling it, I knew all that praise of mechanical fuel pumps was about to bite me in the rear. Seems a new diaphram is in my not to distant future. These are the little things that keep us humble.
