I think he is jirking your chain on the price. Down here in eastern Idaho, I doubt you can get $140.00 for clean scrap. Do you think this guy wants to cut that thing into 3 foot pieces. And then it would be down graded. I have paid about $200 a ton for a scout car and a Type 94 Japanese tankette. My neighbor is parting out some Boyce M-211 conversions that have the std tranny and clutch conversion, I know you can buy for cheaper. I would not fight the old automatics. Been there - done that.
