That's why my friends in high school used to all the '69 Olds 98 I used to drive to school in. A good fire pump like a Hale is always a good thing to have on hand. Most portable pumps you see are made for pumping out basements and the like, where you need a lot of flow at relatively low pressure. They're sure better than nothing if you need to wet down the woods in a fire situation, but they won't put out a stream like a real fire pump.
