I do not know for a fact that the 4.30 gears came out of a Route Van. I was told they did. The van has a factory independent suspension in the rear. My Command Car came with 4.30 in the rear and the front drive shaft in the trunk. So I don't remember but some body gave me the phone # of a salvage yard in the State of Washington. I called and he sent me one. I installed it in the front. Long time ago. The car loves the highway 55 all day long. But if I had my choice i would go 4.89 gears. She does not like hills. And as I think about it I do not know the size 8 or 9 Im not sure?? Good Luck. Bill.
