Stan: Following Doc Dave's lead I had my fronts re-arched last week. $49.00 per side. I don't understand yours, the shackle is nearly vertical but the spring is very flat. When my spring looked like yours the shackle was angled forward quite a bit.
Not to spend your money, but I'll bet you need new bushings and new bolts for the springs, and while the spring shop took care of the bushings, I had to get the special hardened bolts from VPW. My bolts had a lot of material gone and were sloppy.
Interestingly enough, the truck drives different and the front end is much more solid.
