That's exactly what I am going to do with mine. I never intend to tow, other than move something around at home. But it will be a great place to step to get on the flat bed.
I also like having receivers under the front bumper for pushing from the front of the truck. Maybe I'll find one of those little slide-in plugs for the tube with a "Jeep" on it for those who remain confused about what the truck is. ;0
