Alonso is the Ferrari F1 driver. On thurs consider spending the day at Killington. Ride the gondola to the top and hike or bike around. You can rent bikes and ride trails all the way down. Plus there's an alpine slide there and a nice hotel reasonable off season rates and probably a pool. That's one option i'll think of others.
