If you were at the Iowa rally you might have seen me grenade my rearmost ujoint during the sled pull. Well I was putting in my replacement driveline last Saturday and noticed the front ujoint on the rear driveline the cap will spin in the ear. I first thought maybe cap had seized on ujoint and then started spinning in the ear but the ujoint feels fine. Would torque distort the yoke enough to cause this? Could I have the wrong ujoint somehow? I have always found the caps to be a very tight fit requiring a press. I am wondering if this is related to the failed ujoint? I always thought m37 ujoints were plenty strong.
