I took the 60 to the local Fathers Day car show, first time I had been there in 10 years. I had a father son come up and ask me about the w300m and the son asked if he could sit in the cab. he was a very polite 11 year old that couldn't get enough of the old iron. He climbed underneath it, looked in the hood, asked about the winch and the history of the truck, you could see in his eyes he had the fever for the old Dodges.
Some of these hot rods and trucks are in the 100k range price wise, there were some beauties. I left early and on my way out the 11 year old came running up and told me I had taken first place in my division. I claimed the prize and sat him on the front bumper and took a picture of him holding it. The boy made my day more than the first place because I know he will remember that flat fender for the rest of his life and will probably have one in the near future.
