ID on tranny

The tranny that was in my '50 FF when I bought it was missing 2nd and reverse...it was a workin' truck (barely) back in '77, just wanted to get it back to work, so I replaced it with one I found in the junkyard. Anyway, I think it's an NP435, what ID's the types? No pix right now, but will post ASAP. I know I've read it here before, but that was several forums ago. I appreciate the re-education. Thanks, JET
