I use my wench with a gin pole to change my own tires that all have date codes from the 1950s and 60s. I stand on the bead and walk it around while inflating it to make sure the split ring seats right, because most of mine are rusty and some of them came off of different rims. Thank goodness I at least upgraded to an electric fuel pump because I do a lot of flat-towing, usually just with a chain, and I like to be able to stay ahead of the towed rig on the downgrades when the traffic is heavy.
