The stud does not necessarily make it a wrong box. The spline/diameter are different on saginaw boxes. I too found this out from AGR after they rebuilt 2 boxes for me. Problem was they did a exchange instead of a rebuild as they said they would. In the exchange the spline count/diameter changed with the new box. It would not fit the Sweet Mfg U joint that Helitool uses. Rather than send the heavy saginaw boxes back, I just bought two new Sweet Mfg U joints that matched my steering column and also the spline/dia of the saginaw box. It was cheaper than USP for two boxes both ways that AGR would not eat. Needless to say, I dont do business with AGR any longer.
