Took a ride in a rental truck yesterday to pick up 8,000# of clay pigeons for the gun range. 300 miles on 25 gallons. Brand new 24' flat bed, didn't catch the brand, Sterling I think. 22" wheels. 26,000 gvw, 5t truck?
It's one of the new ones with the urea 'muffler bearing lube tank'. Separate gauge for that, we used only 1/4 tank, Rental co. will take car of that refill.
Sure wish I had a diesel powered pallet jack. A ton at a time on a manual one took some 'torque' to get it moving.
