The truck WAS from Owensville. I was taking it to the airport in St Louis where the new owner was flying in from Minnesota to drive it home. I also have an 85 one ton that is shortbed crewcab 4x4. Hope the new owner is doing well. Im always nervous about someone embarking on a trip like that in an old vehicle. Tranny was serviced, new belts, new hoses, lights and wipers functioning, brakes bled, a few spares like fuel pump and tire, and oil changed--but still that is a long trip in a vehicle you dont know much about. I wish him well. Nice guy-as most of you are. By the way Im keeping the 85.
