Had the same thing happen to me when I was rebuiling my engine, but I didn't look to see if anything had gotten into the radiator. What on earth would EVER get into a radiator!!! It took me a week to figure out why it kept overheating. All that little floaty stuff in my nice new engine. It was my seat stuffing too. :(
