The up-to-type spur gear transmission (drain plug 30 degrees on bottom) (46-51) used a single gear PTO
The after-type-spur gear (drain plug parrellel to bottom) (bigger transmission 51-56) used a two gear PTO
You can interchage the two gear with the earlier transmission, but it will require a 1/4 inch plate.
Can't interchange one from a sycro tranny.
