It depends on what tranny the PW had in it not what engine. All WDX-WM PW's had tranny mounted pto's! 1946-56 PW's had the NP Spurgear tranny. 1957-68 had the NP420 tranny (Standard). A pto from a 420 won't interchange with a Spurgear or verser/vise.
