rebuilt by a mercedes factory in 1954. there are rebuild tags on all of the gear cases. some parts - like the pitman arm were rebuilt and stamped by them. the wheel seals and bearings used are a quality not found even in timken or federal mogul. i showed them to my bearing guy and he was impressed.
