I am currently trying to get an old 46 with a
L-230 flat head running again. I was changing the battery and seen that the positive cable was grounded to the tranny bolt and the neg.
cable was going to the starter. Is this the correct way to do this? The battery tray is under the drivers side floor pan.
I looked at the coil and again I found things looking reversed. My 52 pw is nothing like this. I have heard of old fords being positive ground but not an old Dodge. Is this
correct?????
If so can I get a differant distributor and wire it just like normal?
Thanks fella's!
